The Bible Has Impacted You Even If You Don't Know It

By Judd Gorner

There are famous songs and famous people but none of had the impact that the Bible has had. The Bible and various Bible Quotes have had life changing affects and provide lifelong values for millions and millions of people around the world. The Bible has been translated into more languages than any other book ever and arguably has had lasting changes in more people's lives than any other book in the world. With these astonishing facts, there are still naysayers who don't believe the value of religion or the Bible itself.

Looking at religion, you can find many if not all of the principals that govern us in our everyday lives. Rules and laws that have been created to live peacefully often are derived from the Bible itself. The 10 commandments lay out many of the core principals of life and safety. Most modernized societies have incorporated these religious virtues into their governing society.

If you are in agreement that the Bible and its teachings have largely influenced and ultimately resulted in shaping the rules of our society, then how can you be a non-believer. Understanding religion and its impact on our society means that the lessons learned clearly are important. It's these principals and lessons that form law and ultimately should guide us in our actions and how we act towards one another.

Often you will hear people refer to the Bible as merely stories or fables made to explain unknown occurrences in early times. While these nonbelievers may have a point, it's important to consider what these stories represent. Not all of these stories of the Bible need to be taken at face value. There are Bible Quotes that may not directly be appropriate today but they all help build the story and the basis for what we should understand.

Looking at Bible Stories, you can relate them today's world. Regardless of the fact that the story is dated or possibly filled with tales that appear to be unbelievable at face value, there is a meaning. Understanding the Bible means being able to dig deeper and see where the value and the lessons are that help shape us. Stories may be interpreted figuratively as opposed to literally and this is where the Bible has lessons to be learned.

The fact that the Bible and Bible Quotes can help us live a better life is a foreign thought to many. Why would lessons from another time be useful in today's world. The truth is that the Bible and Bible Quotes are still relevant today. Without these basic principals of treating others fairly or politely or without the virtues of caring for others, the world can continue down a selfish path. Its important to reflect on ourselves and consider the lessons of the bible.

Regardless of the time you have and it's important to make the bible a priority. Looking at the Bible and understanding its impact on our lives and society, you understand that reflecting on Bible Quotes can make you a better person. While it may not be the literal interpretation, there is meaning in every Bible Quote and there is no time better than now to start making the Bible a priority in your life.
